With less than two months remaining until Election Day, Americans on both sides of the political spectrum are beginning to rally behind their respective candidates hoping that their party might gain an edge come November. Since President Obama is woefully incapable of running on his economic record, most Democrats’ hyperbolized tenets frame his “equality-conscious” and “peaceful-minded” outlook. “At least he’s better than Bush”, they jeer while rolling their eyes....

Recently, a video of presidential candidate Mitt Romney speaking at a closed-doors fundraiser was leaked onto the Internet. During the recording, Romney admitted that 47% of Americans “believe they are victims” entitled to all sorts of government hand-outs, benefits, and support, and will vote to re-elect President Obama this November no matter what. From the second these comments were released, activists and journalists from around the country have been lining up to point fingers and demonize the GOP candidate as an unsympathetic elitist...

Ever since affirmative action was sanctioned through Grutter v. Bollinger nine years ago, universities throughout the United States have been taking applicants’ race and ethnicity into account when evaluating applications and, eventually, issuing acceptance letters. Now, within a matter of days, the Supreme Court will release its decision on a renewed complaint against this practice. While this much-debated topic attracts many progressive and “politically correct” supporters, its institutional merits and intentions should be critically examined by everyone who values justice and constitutionality in this country....
